Hyundai Announces Price Hike Effective from January 2014

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India witnessed 43% surge in November 2013 Sales
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) sees 43% sales surge in
November 2013. Specifically, it sold 3,19,080 during the last month
against 2,23,145 units sold in same period last year.
Motorcycle segment of HMSI witnessed rise of 39% i.e. at 1,50,995 units in November’13, while its last years’ sales of same segment was 1,08,403 units.

KTM Duke launched in India with a huge fanfare, and also with a very

Hero MotoCorp Associates with Magneti Marelli in India for powertrain systems of two-wheelers
Magneti Marelli S.p.A. and Hero MotoCorp
Ltd. have signed a Joint Venture agreement aimed at the production of
powertrain systems for the two-wheeler market.
As per the agreement, Hero MotoCorp
is learnt to hold an ownership of 60% share in the Joint Venture, with
the remaining 40% to be held by Magneti Marelli. The construction of a
JV’s production plant is planned for 2015, at a location in India to be
defined shortly.

Mahindra Tractors sells 22343 units in domestic market during November 2013, registers 13% growth
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector
(FES), a part of the USD 16.2 billion Mahindra Group, today announced
its tractor sales numbers for November 2013 which stood at 22343 units
in the domestic market, as against 19757 units during November 2012, a
growth of 13%. The company’s overall sales have also grown by 13%,
standing at 23119 units during November 2013 with exports at 776 units.
