New Skoda Superb Ambition Launched in 2012

Skoda has launched a new model named Superb Ambition. This is much more affordable than the original car. The Skoda Superb Ambition is available in both the petrol as well as diesel versions. Unfortunately there is a vast difference between the prices of the petrol and the diesel variations.

According to the prices stated by ex-showrooms in Maharashtra, the cost of the petrol version is Rs. 17.6 lakh while the price of the diesel version is Rs. 22.5 lakh. Even though the price is much lower as compared to the original Skoda Superb car, the looks of the exteriors are very much similar to its predecessor. But a careful inspection reveals the difference in the wheels which have a unique alloy wheel design. Doing a smart work at revamping the Skoda has removed the dispensable features of the original Skoda in a bid to reduce the cost.  But all the safety features which were a part of the original car are included in the Skoda Superb Ambition as Skoda gives utmost importance to the security and considers it to be of utmost importance. Hence they have not been modified.

In the words of Kamal Basu, the head of Marketting, Skoda Auto Inda, “with the launch of Superb Ambition, we are now extending the model line with greater accessibility while retaining Superb’s class values in comfort, safety and efficancy. This variant will further consolidate the car’s dominating position in the segment and open the doors of opulence, for the uncompromising customer seeking excellence at a great price.”
